Abstract

Respiratory challenges cause a significant change of oxyhemoglobin concentration in tumor breast but not in normal breast. Near-infrared spectroscopy with respiratory challenges can be useful in early detection of breast tumor and also in prediction of tumor response from chemotherapy.
