Improved Near-infrared Spectral Tomography Image Reconstruction Guided by Both DCE and Diffusion Images

Abstract

Multi-parameter functional image guidance is demonstrated to regularize NIRS tomography with MRI dynamic contrast and water diffusion. The approach shows increased contrast in the tumors from 1.76 to 2.23, relative to a regular MRI guidance approach.
