Second Harmonic Generation Reduced Double Stokes Mueller Polarimetric Microscopy of Vertebral Bone

Abstract

Reduced double Stokes Mueller polarimetric imaging method was used to study collagen organization of bone in normal tissue and newly formed bone in metastatic vertebrae. It differentiated between old and new bone in normal and tumor samples.
