Spectroscopic Raman Analysis of Tumor Micro- and Macroenvironments in Human Breast and Rat Mammary Cancer

Abstract

The tumor microenvironment plays important roles in carcinogenesis. We report spectroscopic Raman analysis of fatty acids and increased polyunsaturated fatty acids in the wider tumor macroenvironment in both human breast and rat mammary cancer.
