Supersensitive Optical Phase Measurement Using Deterministically Generated Multiphoton Entangled State

Abstract

We use a multiphoton Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state to demonstrate optical phase measurement with sensitivity that beats the standard quantum limit. The state is produced deterministically at a rate of 76 MHz from a single point source.
