Fiber Grating Sensor Array Interrogation Using a Frequency-Shifted Interferometer and Fourier Analysis

Abstract

We interrogate an 11-grating sensor array with random wavelength overlap using a novel frequency-shifted interferometer. Fourier analysis of the interference signal as a function of the frequency shift resolves the positions of the grating.
