Video-Rate Volumetric Imaging of Extended Structures with Engineered PSFs

Abstract

Imaging dynamic processes in 3D with high temporal resolution is a key challenge in fluorescence microscopy. By combining pupil-plane-engineering with a novel deconvolution algorithm we demonstrate a hybrid method that provides true snapshot volumetric imaging.
