Mega-pixel time-of-flight imager with GHz modulation frequencies

Abstract

We propose a novel time-of-flight imaging technique with GHz modulation frequencies using a regular CCD/CMOS sensor as the detector. Our proposed system can provide sub-mm depth resolution and megapixel level lateral resolution.
