Multiscale, dictionary-based speckle denoising

Abstract

We propose a multiscale, dictionary-based, data-adaptive estimation method to recover intensities from multiplicative, speckle data. The proposed method preserves the edges and textures in the underlying image while smoothing intensities in homogenous regions.
