Video Enhancement through Automated Lucky Region Fusion from a Stream of Atmospherically Distorted Images

Abstract

An automated video enhancement technique based on “lucky region” fusion is presented. The fusion parameter is automatically adjusted to imaging conditions based on analysis of source images. The technique is demonstrated experimentally on atmospherically distorted image sets.
