Multi-aperture diversity imaging: physical limitations to the generalized sampling theorem

Abstract

The generalized sampling theorem describes restoring images with an N-fold increase in resolution from N independent low-pass images of the same scene. We consider physical mechanisms that can be exploited to make N very large.
