Nanosecond 2.73-µm Parametric Source for Pumping LWIR OPCPA

Abstract

A 31-mJ, 9.6-ns, 2.73-µm parametric source is demonstrated, producing a supergaussian spatial profile with M2 = 2.8. The source is further sliced to 1-ns pulses, providing favorable characteristics for LWIR OPCPA pumping.
