Titanium Dioxide as bio-sensor for local temperature detection

Abstract

Aim of the present work is the realization of biocompatible optical thermometers. Raman measurements have been performed by exciting commercial anatase powder in the visible range, at defined temperature. Good reliable temperatures can be obtained.
