Frequency Noise Reduction in a Quantum Cascade Laser Using a Short Free-Space Delay Line

Abstract

We present frequency noise reduction of a mid-infrared quantum cascade laser achieved by stabilization to a short free-space delay line and show a noise decrease by more than 20 dB at 1-kHz Fourier frequency.
