Abstract

We demonstrate ultra-stable 10-GHz generation based on single-fiber-branch Er:fiber combs. Residual rms phase fluctuations were 10 microradians at 10 s, with corresponding fractional frequency instability of 5×10−17 at 1 s and 1×10−18 at 200 s.
