Optical-feedback-stabilized quantum cascade laser frequency combs

Abstract

Stabilization of quantum-cascade-laser frequency combs by means of external optical feedback is presented. Experimental results suggest reduced phase-noise in the frequency comb, allowing comb operation in previously unstable regimes.
