Real-time Reference for Frequency-shifted Fourier-transform Spectrometers using an Arbitrary-wavelength CW Reference Laser

Abstract

Frequency-shifted interferometers enable significant reduction of the measurement noise in Fourier-transform spectrometry and distance metrology. We demonstrate a real-time solution for referencing these interferometers with nanometer precision using an arbitrary-wavelength CW reference laser.
