Single-Frequency, Ultra-Narrow Linewidth Hybrid Brillouin-Thulium Fiber Laser based on In-band Pumping

Abstract

A hybrid Brillouin/thulium fiber laser with an ultra-narrow linewidth of 0.93 kHz was demonstrated, with the output coupling, cavity Q factor and pumping scheme optimized for the narrow linewidth.
