Mid-infrared Dual-comb Spectroscopy of Volatile Organic Compounds Across Long Open-air Paths

Abstract

Volatile organic compounds are probed across up to 1 km-long open-air paths with mid-infrared dual-comb spectroscopy. Quantitative concentrations of released acetone and isopropanol and atmospheric ethane are measured with ppm·m-level sensitivities.
