Digital Holography for Local Heat Flux Measurement along the Surface of Heated Wire

Abstract

In this paper, local heat flux Q(y) and convective heat transfer coefficient (hc) is measured along the surface of electrically heated wire using digital holographic interferometry (DHI). Experiments were performed on tungsten wire of different diameters.
