Ultrabroadband integrated photonic filters for waveguide-based sensing systems

Abstract

We describe the design and characterization of broadband, multi-stage waveguide lattice filters intended for integrated photonic sensing systems. The 8-stage filter provides 20 dB extinction at the filter resonance adjacent to a 190 nm passband.
