Silicon Photonic 50GHz Wavelength (De)Multiplexer with Low Crosstalk and Flat Passband

Abstract

We demonstrated an eight-channel flat-topped wavelength (de)multiplexer with 50GHz channel spacing on a SOI chip. The measured crosstalk is < −26.0 dB at central wavelengths of the channels and 1-dB bandwidth is 33.0 GHz.
