High-resolution hyperspectral imaging based on liquid-crystal cells

Abstract

A compact, integrable and low-cost hyperspectral imaging device is proposed. It relies on cascaded liquid-crystal cells dynamically driven, calibrated through broadband spectral interferometry. 6nm spectral resolution is demonstrated over 400-1000nm.
