Chip-Based Frequency Combs for High-Resolution Optical Coherence Tomography

Abstract

We present a source for OCT based on chip-scale microresonators for sub-micrometer axial resolution and deep tissue penetration. Using the microresonators, we acquire OCT images of human tissue and show compatibility with standard OCT systems.
