Repetition-Rate Stabilized 10-GHz Straight-Cavity SESAM-Modelocked Yb:CALGO Laser

Abstract

We present a repetition-rate stabilized SESAM-modelocked 10-GHz Yb:CALGO laser using a self-defocussing straight-cavity that suppresses Q-switching and delivered 171 fs pulses at 1.44 W, and even 104 fs at 0.81 W with a dispersion-compensating output coupler.
