Efficient tuning of second-harmonic generation in a lithium niobate nanophotonic waveguide

Abstract

We report flexible spectral tuning of second-harmonic generation in a lithium niobate nanophotonic waveguide, with a thermal tuning slope of 0.84 nm/K for a telecom pump, by utilizing the significant thermo-optic birefringence of lithium niobate.
