Multi-Format and Low-Complexity Carrier Phase Estimation Scheme Based on Linear Approximation for Elastic Optical Networks

Abstract

We propose an innovative multi-format CPE scheme outperforming existing CPEs in both performance and complexity for m-QAM formats in elastic optical networks. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate its effectiveness, flexibility and excellent linewidth tolerance.
