Towards high power and low noise mid-infrared DFG ultrafast source

Abstract

We theoretically demonstrate that high power low noise mid-IR pulses can be obtained by using SPM-enabled pulses as the signal. Compared with Raman soliton pulse, SPM-enabled pulse exhibits high energy and low timing jitter.
