Comb-based Optical Frequency Transfer in Free Space

Abstract

A comb-based scheme of coherent optical frequency transfer in free space is proposed and demonstrated. This method enables concurrent transfer of multiple optical carriers with simultaneous detection and cancellation of the atmospheric phase noise.
