Effects of Non-reciprocal Phase Bias in Figure-8/9 Fiber Lasers

Abstract

We investigate the dependence of phase bias on the pulse qualities in figure-8 and figure-9 fiber lasers. Numerical simulation results show that phase bias can facilitate NALM operation and reduce pulse duration.
