Pump-to-Signal Modulation Transfer in a Tm-doped Fiber for Active Mode-locking

Abstract

Recently, we proposed a new class of actively mode-locking technique using pump modulation and realized a mode-locked Tm-doped fiber laser. Here, we investigate a pump-to-signal modulation transfer function in a Tm-doped fiber numerically and experimentally.
