Frequency-halved orthogonally polarized vector soliton states from a single fiber laser source

Abstract

An ultrafast pulse train composed of co-generated, consecutive, equal intensity and orthogonally polarized pulses is experimentally shown for the first time in a vector soliton mode-locked fiber laser.
