High Average Power Tm:YAG Waveguide Lasers

Abstract

Pulsed and CW results are presented for a Tm:YAG self-imaging planar waveguide laser. The laser achieved CW power of 240 W at 2012 nm with 23% electrical-to-optical efficiency.
