Abstract

A simplified demultiplexing scheme for two PDM-IM/DD links utilizing a single Stokes analyzer is experimentally demonstrated. Results of 4×10-Gbit/s transmission over 2-km SSMF show <2-dB power penalty compared to the single PDM-IM/DD system.
