Chip-scale dissipative Kerr soliton-based frequency combs driven with 1µm source

Abstract

We report the first experimental realization of dissipative Kerr solitons in optical microresonators with a pump wavelength of 1µm. Octave-spanning operation in the near-infrared window for biological tissues is demonstrated.
