Crosstalk Mitigation in Polychromatic Sampling via Backward Raman Amplification

Abstract

By applying backward Raman amplification and reduced input signal power in polychromatic parametric sampling, we obtain 12.5 dB and 18.0 dB reduction of second-harmonic distortion in two channels caused by inter-channel crosstalk.
