Frequency locked micro ring resonators for wide band frequency referencing

Abstract

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a chip-scale based wideband optical frequency reference operating in a dual band spectral regime of near IR and telecom, by frequency locking a microring resonator to an acetylene absorption line.
