Terahertz Graphene Modulator Integrated with Quantum Cascade Laser Achieving 100% Modulation Depth

Abstract

A graphene modulator has been integrated with a THz quantum cascade laser, resulting in a 100% modulation depth with a fast speed due to the strongly enhanced interaction between the laser field and the graphene.
