Efficient Er3+-doped Fiber Laser Based on Nano-engineered Yttria Stabilized Zirconia Alumino Silicate Fiber

Abstract

We report on the development of efficient continuous wave fiber laser utilizing an Er3+-doped nano-engineered yttria stabilized zirconia–alumino silicate fiber. Such a fiber presents better capability of cluster elimination than commercial Er3+-doped silica fibers.
