Short Acetylene-Filled Photonic Bandgap Fiber Cells Toward Practical Industry Standards

Abstract

Molecular absorption cells (5 cm-long, free-space coupled) underpin industry wavelength standards at the 0.1 pm (~10 MHz) level. We address the challenge of fabricating very short, sealed photonic bandgap fibers with similar performance.
