Photothermal Mid-Infrared Spectroscopy using Fano Resonances in Silicon Microring Resonators

Abstract

A novel photothermal mid-infrared spectroscopy method is demonstrated in the 3.5μm wavelength range on a polymer analyte using an asymmetric Fano-type resonance in a silicon-on-insulator microring resonator.
