Novel all-fiber comb-like filters based on circular polarization interference

Abstract

We propose modified Lyot filters based on circular polarizers, which have comb-like transmission with intrinsically high spectrum modulation depth and can significantly simplify the fabrication process compared with conventional Lyot filters based on linear polarizers.
