High-Birefringent Microstructured Optical Fiber Based Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor

Abstract

We design a high-birefringent microstructured optical fiber for surface plasmon resonance sensor. Our proposed sensor provides birefringence as large as 4.2×10−4, which effectively reduces the measurement offset induced by polarization crosstalk.
