Fast Tunable Picosecond Optical Parametric Oscillator Based on Chirped Quasi-Phase Matching

Abstract

We report on a picosecond OPO combining an aperiodically poled nonlinear crystal and a rapidly tunable intracavity spectral filter. Fast tuning over 80 nm around 3.84 µm is carried out in less than few milliseconds.
