Tunable Single-Frequency DFB Fiber Laser at 2.8 μm

Abstract

We report a tunable single-frequency laser emission near 2.8 µm from an all-fiber distributed feedback laser. A 20 kHz linewidth is measured with a tunability of ~1 nm at a step resolution of 3 pm.
