Adaptive optics for single molecule switching nanoscopy

Abstract

Specimen-induced aberrations frequently affect image quality in high-resolution microscopes. Aberration effects can be even more problematic in super-resolution methods. We show adaptive aberration correction in STORM microscopy of deep cell and tissue specimens.
