Abstract

The design of a 3-channel OPCPA system, generating ultrashort pulses with terawatt peak and sub-kilowatt average powers is presented. Coherent synthesis of the channels is predicted to produce intense, sub-cycle transients, presenting a route toward keV attosecond pulses.
