Abstract

Our quasi-continuous wave Ce:Nd:YAG solid-state laser was directly pumped by LED arrays, yielding a maximum of 8mJ/pulse. Comparison of pumping at 460nm and 810nm allows analysis of the performance and potential of this laser system.
