Abstract

We propose an efficient configuration of FIR-filter for joint quadrature-imbalance (IQ) compensation and carrier-phase-recovery 16-QAM optical coherent receivers. Through computer simulation we demonstrate proposed scheme can mitigate wide-range of phase-noise and IQ-mismatch of optical front-end.
