Abstract

A more than one-octave-wide supercontinuum (0.9 to ~2.1 µm) is generated in a double-nanospike As2S3-silica step-index waveguide. The average supercontinuum spectral intensity is increased by ~20 dB compared to the previously reported single-spike structure.
